Here we will offer Human Sexuality training, key vocabulary, and insight into the new state standards. You also will be introduced to a unique type of fitness training, that incorporates amazing mental wellness and breathing practices.

Come join us southern districts as we (re)invigorate you with new pedagogy practices, fitness methods to develop and actually get students to want to move, and weight room instruction. Teachers will be offered many activities, and resources to immediately bring back to their schools to start the year off right.

EDTPA: PREPARING AND SUPPORTING OUR PETE CANDIDATES

This event will effectively prepare PETE teacher candidates for their edTPA assessment. Presenters are both current and past evaluators of physical education edTPA submission, as well as author of Human Kinetic's teacher preparation guidebook. Deep description/explanation of the assessment, how to's, past graduate Q&A session, along with video analysis of exemplary lessons and practice sessions will fill this amazing event. You will sure come out ready to tackle the edTPA. DO NOT MISS THIS!!
PE PD DAY: COME ONE: COME ALL

Gain strong PD as it pertains to differentiation and servicing ALL students no matter the challenge. We will offer innovative content (i.e., group fitness classes, weight training, SEL, elementary [3-5], exciting new sport units: spikeball, frisbee golf, tchoukball & MORE) and ways to modify activities and utilize the sometimes minimal space/equipment to keep our most advanced and sometimes those just starting- engaged, moving, emotionally controlled/refreshed, and meeting state standards. Lots of new activities shared and best practices to circumvent our many barriers.
