Physical EDGE Presents...
Certified Strength & Conditioning Educator (CSCE)

Empower your staff to lead safe, effective, and developmentally appropriate strength training programs in K–12 settings. This hybrid, NSCA-aligned certification includes 16 contact hours (1.5‑hour modules) delivered via online and in-person workshops, plus instructor-led practice and peer observations.

What you'll gain:

  • Confidence teaching foundational lifts (e.g., squat, deadlift, overhead press)

  • Ability to design age-appropriate strength cycles and perform movement screenings

  • Mastery of pedagogical methods such as modeling, scaffolding, and differentiated instruction

  • Strategies to leverage strength training for improved mental health—boosting confidence, resilience, and emotional regulation ¹

A capstone project with peer-reviewed lesson plans, plus a certification exam, ensures your team is ready to take the weight room by storm.

Program Summary

Our Physical Education Certification in Strength and Conditioning is a comprehensive, evidence-based program designed for educators, coaches, and fitness professionals seeking to improve muscular development and promote long-term physical engagement within school settings.

Rooted in the latest NSCA guidelines and aligned with national physical education standards, the certification prepares participants to lead safe, effective, and developmentally appropriate strength and conditioning programs. The curriculum also emphasizes evidence-based teaching strategies, classroom management, and instructional techniques proven to enhance learning outcomes in physical education environments. In addition to physical benefits, the program highlights how strength training supports mental health—boosting self-esteem, reducing anxiety, and reinforcing emotional resilience through movement¹.

School districts can sign up and we will come and instruct at your facility, with portions of the program offered via Zoom. If preferred, we have a FULLY online program as well for both School Districts staff or Individuals.

Flexible, Facility-Friendly Delivery

Our in-person workshops are designed to be highly adaptable to the unique resources and spaces of each host school. Whether your facility includes a full weight room, a gymnasium, an outdoor field, or minimal equipment, our certified instructors are trained to customize the experience to your environment.

We prioritize function over form, focusing on movement quality, coaching technique, and program design principles that can be effectively delivered in a wide range of settings. Through creative programming, bodyweight alternatives, and equipment-free teaching strategies, we ensure every participant gains practical, hands-on experience, regardless of the facility’s size or inventory.

Our goal is to make strength and conditioning accessible, relevant, and realistic for every educator, so they can confidently replicate and apply what they’ve learned in their own school environments.
